life armour: Our sustainability and environmental footprint

As I started on the journey to create the life armour brand, not only was I focussed on finding high quality ingredients and working with the most reputable suppliers. Our packaging materials, their sustainability and minimising our environmental footprint were all equally important.

We have carefully considered every detail of our packaging to minimise our environmental impact.

The glass we use in our jars and bottles contains recycled glass and can be 100% recycled. The lids on our capsule bottles are also 100% recyclable.

We also offer pouch refills for our capsules. You can either buy these as a one off or for customers who subscribe, in their first month they will receive a beautiful jar. In subsequent months their capsules will be delivered in our pouches, simply refill the jar and leave on display as a daily reminder to take your capsules.

Our pouches are also handy travel companions as they hold up to 1 months supply of capsules.

As the life armour capsule pouches are lightweight, this further helps to reduce the carbon footprint during shipping.

We continue to work with our supplier on the latest technologies available to constantly improve. It’s critical our high performing capsules are protected in the correct type of packaging.

Tincture bottles

Our tincture bottles come in FSC cardboard boxes to protect them in shipping. Our 30ml glass bottles are 100% recyclable and contain recycled materials. The only plastic we have in our entire range is on the neck of the of the bottle. Whilst we continue to look for solutions to this, currently it is the only pipette we could find with tamper evidence to protect the integrity of the formulation inside.

Shipment boxes

We only use cardboard shipping boxes which are made from recycled material and are fully recyclable. Inside the boxes, our filler and wrap are also made from recycled materials and can be recycled.

As we grow we will aim to continually improve our packaging and shipment boxes. After all, we ALL need to make changes to protect our planet.

Please do let us know if you have any ideas or suggestions on our packaging. As the founder it is a real passion of mine as you can tell!
